rse music behavior guidelines
The RSE Music Behavior Guidelines are based on golf scores. Each class, that comes to General Music each week, competes to be the best behaved class for the year. So, like with the game of golf, the lowest score wins. The class, with the lowest score in each grade level, will win a pizza party (3rd- 4th) or an ice cream party (K-2nd).
Here is the RSE Music Behavior Golf Scoring System:
ACE = A Hole in One = - 2 on a Par 3 Activity = Exceptional Behavior
Albatross = A Double-Eagle = - 3 on a Par 5 Activity = Superior Behavior
Eagle = - 2 on a Par 5 Activity = Excellent Behavior
Birdie = - 1 on a Par 3, 4 or 5 Activity = Above Average Behavior; No Warning, No Behavior Mark given
Par = E for Even = a Warning is given to the class = Average Behavior
Bogey = + 1 = a Warning and a Behavior Mark is given to the class = Below Average Behavior
Double Bogey = + 2 = a Warning and 2 Behavior Marks are given = Poor Behavior
Music Classroom Rules
1. Follow directions the first-time given.
2. Raise your hand for permission to speak, especially if you have a question or an answer.
3. Keep feet, hands, and objects to yourself. Show respect to each other.
4. Remember to always participate by listening, singing, playing, reading, moving and creating music.
